Welcome to Bida Digital’s newsletter #2! Each week I will share one insight for each one of Bida’s four pillars: Website Development, Marketing, Communications & Event Management.
Website Development: Optimize for Mobile Users
Mobile makes up 58.21% of global internet traffic.

With most visitors browsing on their phones these days, your website must look great on mobile devices. Test your site’s mobile responsiveness by visiting it on different devices or using tools like Google Chrome’s Developer Tools. Ensure buttons, text, and images adjust properly for smaller screens to provide a seamless experience.
Marketing: Leverage Testimonials to Build Trust
Gather quotes and showcase them through your channels.
Gather quotes from past clients, collaborators, or workshop participants and showcase them on your website and social media. Highlight specific results or feedback to demonstrate your impact and build credibility. Testimonials act as social proof and make your services more relatable to potential clients.
In my experience, this is what a lot of individuals and businesses struggle with or don’t put much effort in. Some people might not want to do it, or might want to remain anonymous, and that is okay. A first step is to just ask!

Communications: Understand What It Is About
Communications is not marketing

Effective communication isn’t about selling something and it isn’t just about sharing information—it’s about building relationships. Focus on clarity, consistency, and empathy in your messaging. Think about what your audience needs to hear, not just what you want to say. Whether through newsletters, blogs, or social posts, prioritize meaningful connections over transactions.
Event Planning: Create a Day-Of Checklist
Clear organization and processes are crucial to run a smooth event.
Stay organized by creating a detailed checklist for the day of your event, even when you think you got it all under control. Include setup tasks, equipment checks, and a timeline for activities. A checklist ensures you’re prepared for both expected tasks and unexpected challenges.
For example, during the Music and Medicine Congress in Berlin, we came across a challenge with the audio in one of the streamings. It took us a while to figure out what was wrong, and in the end it was simply a setting that we had to activate. If we had gone through our checklist as the first step we would’ve realized this quicker.

That’s it for this newsletter! I would love to know what kind of content you would want to hear more about, so feel free to reply to this email and let me know. And if you need assistance with implementing any of these tips, feel free to also reach out!
Warmly,
