Welcome to Bida Digital’s newsletter #3! Each week I will share one insight for each one of Bida’s four pillars: Website Development, Marketing, Communications & Event Management.
Website Development: Consistency over Complexity
Strive for a consistent design rather than an over-complicated one.

When building a website, consistency in design is key to creating a professional and user-friendly experience. While it’s tempting to include flashy features or overly intricate layouts, these can distract from your core message and overwhelm visitors. A consistent design—one that aligns with your brand’s colors, fonts, and overall style—enhances clarity and builds trust.
I strive to use consistent design elements for Bida Digital’s website, for example. The same colors and heading sizes are applied across all pages, as well as custom illustrations designed in a unified style, aligning with the overall look.
Marketing: Understand the Goal of Marketing
Drive more awareness, leads, sales, & referrals.
Marketing is more than just promoting your services or posting on social media—it’s about creating a system that consistently drives results. At its core, marketing uses tools and channels to build awareness, attract leads, generate sales, and encourage referrals. The key is to make this process not only effective but also profitable and predictable.
While this might not seem like a simple actionable tip, I wanted to simply put it out there how I understand marketing. It is not just about posting once in a while in social media, it can be tricky business, which is why I started Bida Digital to help folks along this journey.

Communications: Create a Music Therapy Flyer for Your Community
A simple yet effective strategy!

One simple yet effective way to spread awareness about music therapy is by creating a flyer for your workplace or community. I recently designed one for the nursing home where I work, highlighting what music therapy is and how it benefits residents. Leadership loved it and even invested in printing a large batch, which are now available in the lobby for visitors and families.
If you’d like to get started, I have a template available on Canva. It’s in German, but you can easily customize the text to fit your needs. Let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll be happy to share it!
Event Planning: Small Events Can Make a Big Impact
Livestreams, online events, and local gatherings can make a difference
You don’t have to throw the event of the year to make a difference. Livestreams, online events, or small local gatherings can be just as impactful if they’re well-organized and tailored to your audience. For Bida Digital, we hosted a livestream through Facebook and Instagram this week to connect with our community in real-time (you can watch the replay here).
On my personal channels, I’m offering a Zoom event in Spanish about what music therapy is—a simple format that can reach people wherever they are. Small-scale events like these are accessible, manageable, and a great way to engage meaningfully with your audience.

That’s it for this newsletter! I would love to know what kind of content you would want to hear more about, so feel free to reply to this email and let me know. And if you need assistance with implementing any of these tips, feel free to also reach out!
Warmly,
